Birdies Insurance is an independent insurance agency that works exclusively in golf. Golf courses and country clubs, clubhouse and pro shop operations, tournaments and prize coverage, and the individual golfers who play. That is the entire book.

Why we gave up everything else

Most agencies treat golf as an occasional account. They send a 150-acre operation with chemical applications, a commercial kitchen, a liquor license, and a seasonal workforce to the same standard markets they use for HVAC contractors — and then wonder why it gets declined or comes back priced like a guess.

Golf has its own dedicated programs, its own underwriters, and its own vocabulary. Working in one industry every day means we know what a golf underwriter is going to ask before they ask it, and we know which of your exposures will actually move the premium. That is worth more to a course than an agent who can also write your car.

What we don't do

We don't write personal auto, homeowners, or general commercial business. If that's what you need, we'll say so on the first call and point you somewhere useful rather than writing something outside our lane badly.

Where we write

Nationwide. The golf programs we place through are licensed across all fifty states, so the location of your course isn't the constraint. Our office is in Franklin, TN; our clients are not.
